This reticulated foam cushion has large pores that allow the cushion to dry easily and quickly.

Skil-Care offers a complete listing of cushions that provide pressure relief and redistribution. For incontinent residents heat sealed vinyl covers are available that prevent the migration of body fluids into the cushion. Several cushions are also offered with sewn covers that are water proof but in some situations fluids migrate into the foam through the stitching. Although standard polyester foam can be laundered, it takes several hours to rack dry. When foam cushions are preferred, especially for incontinent residents, the EZ Dry foam cushions have many favorable characteristics.

Cushion Attributes: Reticulated foam cushions have large pores that allow the cushion to dry easily and quickly. Foam pore construction whisks away moisture and is cooler. These cushions can also be used outside in inclement weather. Soft foam provides maximum pressure relief and redistribution. The low shear II outer cover has a maximum stretch for minimizing shear forces and is wipe clean with tie straps.
