A vintage brass spinning globe bookend from the Mid-Century Modern era, 1960s-1970s ). This piece features a miniature globe mounted on a substantial solid brass L-bracket base, which serves as a decorative and functional book support. The underside retains its original "Made in Korea" sticker. The globe itself showcases vintage cartography with a distinct creamy/yellowed tone for the landmasses and a light blue ocean, featuring the political boundaries of the time, such as the Soviet Republics (dating it pre-1991). The brass is unpolished and displays a desirable natural patina and minor surface wear, adding to its authentic vintage charm.
